Industry Engagement, Education, and Advocacy

The Pride Council engages with real estate firms to support recruitment, retention, and advancement of LGBT+ professionals at all levels of the organization. The Council partners with trade associations to improve the representation of openly LGBT+ professionals in industry programming and events.

Professional Networking

The Pride Council provides opportunities for LGBT+ professionals from across the industry to connect on issues of shared interest, both online and in person, and in support of lifelong professional network development.

Mentoring & Leadership Development

The Pride Council's Young Members Committee pairs early- and mid-career professionals as well graduate and undergraduate real estate students for mentorship opportunities.

For senior executives, the Council also offers board readiness workshops in support of LGBT+ representation at the highest levels of the industry.

Industry Research

The Pride Council supports research in areas of real estate that are of particular interest for LGBT+ communities, including LGBT+ housing discrimination, housing needs of LGBT+ seniors, LGBT+ workplace protections, and the intersectionality of LGBT+ status and race and ethnicity.
